Location: Eastern part of Iowa. Education: The Company prefers the Candidate to have a two year Ag Degree and or at least a high school education. If the Candidate has a farm background it would be a plus. The Candidate needs to have good speaking, writing, reading comprehension, listening, monitoring, judgement/decision making and time management skills. The operation specialist is responsible for tasks in operating grain and or agronomy facilities. Duty include, but not limited to, assisting in all aspects of the elevator operations. This position will be responsible for receiving grain, maintaining grain conditions, and measuring grain inventory. The Operations Specialist will also be responsible for operating agronomy facilities, loading and unloading bulk and packaged fertilizer and chemical products. The Operations Specialist will operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and maintain seed and bulk treatment equipment.
