Location: Iowa Education and Experience: The Company prefers the Candidate to have at least a two year degree and or 3-5 years experience, a four year degree would be better yet. The Candidate needs to have strong leadership and problem solving skills along with the ability to build a strong team. The Candidate should be familiar with livestock production and transportation. The Candidate will be responsible for complex scheduling methods, able to do efficient calculations, cost/benefit analysis and work well with livestock customers and mill personnel. The Feed Mill Manager will maintain all required records and documentation related to production, drug/supplement usage and feed transportation. The Feed Mill Manager will also provide information and recommendations to upper management related to feed production/transport, related cost reduction opportunities, establish, implement, and monitor effective preventative maintenance program. The Feed Mill Manager will work with Company Nutritionist and related vendors to ensure high quality, cost effective, and value added feed products. Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and agency including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
