Location: Iowa Education and Experience: The Company prefers to hire someone with a Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or a related field. The Carbon Manager needs to be a professional responsible for developing, implementing and managing programs aimed at reducing carbon emissions related to the Ag Industry.
Policy Compliance: The Carbon Manager will stay abreast of environmental regulations and standards related to emissions, carbon credits and ensure organizational compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as executives, departments and teams) and external partners (ethanol plants, government agencies, NGOs, data verifiers and vendors) to drive carbon reductions initiatives and garner support from everyone involved in the process. Follow and comply with all laws and regulations both State and Federal.
Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to execute carbon reduction programs efficiently This Company is involved in Feed Production, Agronomy, Distribution Fleet, and Ag Equipment used in performing agricultural related services.
